NYFW Day 6:
While this week has been hard on our souls and soles, the one thing that’s stayed safe is our skin. A classic that probably dates back to your mom’s mom’s mom, Elizabeth Arden’s Eight Hour Cream is a dream. Another key product to have by your side, it defeats dry skin, chapped lips, and keeps your pesky brows in place.
There is nothing more annoying than when someone enters the room and fills it with the overwhelming smell of their Clinique Happy circa 1999. This is exactly why we love this understated, travel size perfume oil in Musk from C.O. Bigelow. At only 10 bucks a pop, you might even want to give it someone as a polite hint to tone it down.
Fire Agate represents the spiritual flame of absolute perfection, dispelling fear at the deepest level of the inner being. It links into the collective consciousness of the oneness of life, encouraging quiet contemplation of one’s life experiences that lead to spiritual growth and inner stability.
NYFW Day 5:
Well, Winter has showed no signs of letting up and instead has been hitting NYC with a brutal, snow filled cold-spell. Not only has this weather stripped our faces of protective oils but getting a glow in this chill isn’t easy (when is that trip to Tulum again??). Let NARS turn that frown upside down with their Laguna bronzer and Desire blush. Thank you for letting us live the beach-life vicariously! xx
Colorado River water is diverted and dyed blue to expedite evaporation in the settling ponds of a potash mine near Moab, UT.
NYFW Day 2:
Taming our tresses when working with negative time during fashion week is more than difficult, it’s nearly impossible. Enter Oribe’s “Purse Size” Dry Texturizing Spray. This may be God’s gift to busy people - a practical product in a realistic size to carry with you day to day. Use it on your roots for a lift or all over for some refreshening. To top it off, it smells absolutely fantastic! Killing three birds with one stone. We love it. xx
