This rainbow volcano in Iceland, Brennisteinsalda, is one of the most beautiful places in the world. The name Brennisteinsalda means “sulphur wave” and was inspired by the sulphur splotches that color the volcano’s sides. The other colors occur naturally: green moss growing on the surface, black and blue stains from lava and ash, and red from iron in the soil. If it weren’t still active I’d say we relocate the studios to Iceland, yeah? XX
