James Hopkins makes cool images, and/or art, from everyday objects he arranges carefully to reveal or spell something. check out his skull bookshelf sculptures, or this ‘love seat’ piece composed of four chairs. he also has a series of balance pieces (where objects appear to be balanced at unlikely angles) as well as a series of paper works that include the above “salvation lies within.”
what do you think? is it art or just shifting perspective? what’s the difference?
